More about Cushion - Untitled 1963 (R.1775)
Jules Pansu has been designing and producing lines of textil goods for interior design since 1878. Jules Pansu introduced a line of home accessories in 1994.
These accessories were made at their Flanders mill by the "Best Craftmen in France," or Mériteurs Ouvriers de France, who continue the tradition of weaving on jacquard looms. Including creating cushions covers he created also cushions fillings!
This cushion cover by Jules Pansu is crafted using jacquard weaving, inspired by a 1963 artwork by Joan Miró. Entirely woven and made in France at our factory in Halluin, Northern France, it reflects our expertise in jacquard tapestry weaving, a craft we have specialized in since 1878.
We collaborate with renowned artists, estates, and beneficiaries to transform works of art into textiles. Using our exceptional craftsmanship, we faithfully reproduce the artist's brushstrokes in the weave, staying true to the original painting while adding depth and character to the cushion.
In addition to cushions, we offer a diverse selection of decorative accessories, including tapestries, trays, and small furniture, all featuring our distinctive fabrics—perfect for adding originality to your home decor.
